  1. “Land of the long white cloud”?

Opening theme courtesy of New Zealander Dave Dobbyn… the basis of a song used endlessly to promote New Zealand tourism?

Is New Zealand counted as “Down Under”. Speaking as somebody actually in the upside down land, I think not!

“Its not like anyone would be silly to count Japan as part of down under!”. Well just as silly as thinking New Zealand is 😉

Good show guys – but 2.5 hours? Wow.

    • Hey Trevor,
“Land of the long White Cloud”? Yes… it the loose translation of Aotearoa,
the Maori name for New Zealand.

Well your right and wrong on the song, the sample used on the track is from “Slice Of Heaven”
By Dave Dobbyn and Herbs the song I used is from a young guy called Paul Williams
and his track is called “Slice of Paul”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWQ1r_-1jQk

Having been born and raised in New Zealand it is most definitely counted as “Down Under”,
the term is more often used to describe Australia but can and has been used to include New Zealand.

I’m surprised that we managed 1 hour since we didn’t have RomanaII.

      Thanks for listening Trevor 🙂

      Ian.
